Getting Around

The Yellow Bridge is for scooters, bicycles and pedestrians only.

Cars, taxis and buggies cannot cross between Lembongan and Ceningan. If you've booked a tour, villa or activity on the other island, don't worry. Most operators arrange transport on both sides of the bridge to make getting around easy.

Many visitors only cross the bridge for a quick look around before heading back to Lembongan. The real magic begins later in the day, when the crowds disappear, the sky turns shades of orange and pink, and Ceningan settles into its peaceful evening rhythm.

Frequently asked questions about Nusa Lembongan

The easiest way to reach Nusa Lembongan is by fast boat from Sanur in Bali. Most crossings take around 30 to 40 minutes, with multiple departures available daily. Boats arrive at several points around the island, including Jungut Batu and Mushroom Bay.

Cars are limited on Nusa Lembongan and cannot cross to Nusa Ceningan via the Yellow Bridge. Most visitors explore the islands by scooter, bicycle, walking, or local transport services. The Yellow Bridge is only open to pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles.

While some visitors visit as a day trip from Bali, staying at least three to four nights allows you to experience the island's beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, sunsets, snorkelling, and relaxed atmosphere without rushing.
